Rusting Relics: Exploring Australia’s Shipwreck Heritage
Phillip Massaad

Australia’s coastline is littered with numerous shipwrecks, each with their own dramatic story, some tragic and others simply unfortunate. This book tells the stories of 80 of those shipwrecks and shipwreck sites from across Australia and each wreck is illustrated with contemporary photographs and illustrations which are complemented by present-day photos taken by the author.

The author, Phillip Massaad, lives in Sydney and is an avid maritime historian, he is also a member of the NSW Branch of the World Ship Society. As an active photographer he enjoys documenting the lost and decaying elements of nautical history. This is his first book.
